Team Introduction
Hi, this is team BIG BEAR for MIS 586 Big data. We are here to share, update, and communicate with everyone about our team creative ideas towards to Datafications.
Our team consists of 5 team members, below are the introduction to each of us. We are all millenniums with passion and curiosity to the world of BIG DATA.

I was originally from Vietnam and earned my bachelor degree in MIS and Operation Management at the University of Arizona. I worked 1 year at Sunquest Information Systems (Tucson, AZ) as a software engineer. I also gained lots of real-life project management experiences from my volunteer work for the local church and nonprofit organizations in Tucson. In addition, I enjoy hiking, doing rock climbing and taking photos in my spare time. To me, those activities are not just hobbies but also psychological training. I have to push myself to be creative and go beyond my limitation to reach a goal which can be a new art work or top of a mountain.
I had an opportunity to be exposed to a very small part of Big Data when I was in undergraduate program. Although it was just an introductory course to Big Data, I got an idea how Big Data becomes a key to improve living standard and smarter world. Now, I am excited to learn more about Big Data and apply what I will learn to real-world project.

Hi, I am Ping Chang Chen. I am from Taiwan. I love to travel and enjoy exotic foods. Most of time I travel with my friends, but sometimes I will also travel alone. I really enjoy the time when I travel alone, since it provides me other opportunities to meet different people and experience different cultures. Among all the countries I have been to, I like Japan the most. I have been to Japan many times, and it always gives me new experience.
I take this course because I believe this course can sharpen my data analysis skills. I don’t have much big data related experience, but I did that data mining course last semester.

Zhikai Guo
I am a student/ husband/ father / son with creative mind, loaded with cravings for knowledge, speak Chinese, English and novice Swedish, passionate about data analysis and problem solving. I am finding my way to become a professional data scientist. In the past, I worked on a research project in which I wrote python script to collect data about movies from over 20,000 amazon web pages. I look forward to the challenges this class has to offer. In free time, I love travelling and explore different kinds of food. I also have a taste for classical music. I enjoy life and love the surprises it offers.

Chenjie Chen
Second year master student of MIS. No particular interests in any specific domain, but willing to hang out and play with friends for fun. Even though undergraduates in CS major, I haven’t been exposed to hands-on programming for many years and barely did I have any experiences with Big Data. That is to say, I can only understand coding very briefly. Wish it can help you all understand my strong technical impediments and please help me out when our group projects face any potential technical risk. Please also rest assured that I will participate and engage with the group projects, meetings and discussion as much as I can. By doing that, it sure will motivate myself to learn not only from class notes but also from you all, my valuable and lovely team mates.
